The Center for Community Change is launching a petition drive to thank Sen. George Voinovich (R-OH) for declaring that he will do whatever he can to block tax cuts we cannot afford, including voting against the President’s budget.

The President’s budget preserves tax cuts for the wealthy while slashing programs vital to the well-being of millions of struggling Americans, including assistance for middle-class families who need help with education and health care. It radically alters the priorities of the nation as well as the social contract between the government and its people.
