In February, the President released an irresponsible budget proposal that included many immoral cuts to programs that matter to families, and set the wrong priorities for our nation.

If Congress develops and approves a federal budget that contains the dramatic funding cuts for critical domestic programs that the President proposed, cash-strapped states will have to provide services like food stamps, child care, and Medicaid with even less funding. 

Tell your Governor to contact your state’s Congressional delegation and urge them to reject the President’s agenda of tax breaks for the rich and program cuts for the rest of us.  Tell your governor to express his strong opposition to a budget resolution that would harm families in your state.

Use CCC’s email service to send a customized letter directly to your Governor, reminding him/her that your representatives in Congress need to invest in the financial security and well-being of hard-working families, not more tax cuts.
